Solidarity in Times of Hate - The Class Struggle Against Anti-Muslim Racism
After terrorist attacks, right-wing groups try to stoke hatred and racism against minorities. Together, we want to counter this trend. Affected students are invited to contact the Anti-Racism Office at any time.
After terrorist attacks, anti-Muslim racism increases due to several factors. The fear and insecurity following such events provide extremist groups a platform to fuel hatred and prejudices. Furthermore, some media and politicians tend to demonize entire communities based on the actions of extremist groups that do not represent the values of the community as a whole. These developments are closely linked to existing social and economic inequalities in our society.
We strongly oppose this trend and warmly invite affected students to contact our Anti-Racism Office at ÖH Uni Wien. Together, we can educate, break down prejudices, and strengthen social cohesion.
It is crucial to formulate a profound critique of capitalism to question the fundamental structures of our system. Anti-Muslim racism often serves as a distraction from the systemic issues associated with capitalism. We believe in class struggle as a means to overcome these injustices and create a fairer society. Your support is essential in bringing about this change.
